Today’s law enforcement have a variety of scenarios and situations in which they could face at any given time. More often than not law Enforcement will have to engage a suspect in varying levels of hands on encounters. During these hands on experiences most were either stand up grappling altercations or ground altercations (sometimes with an assailant armed with a knife or stick) and in various cases the Officers have also stated that while struggling suspects have tried to remove their weapons.
The objective of O.S.C. is to provide realistic, effective and easy to remember tactics and techniques for use in subduing or defending against a suspect. This course is flexible for varying schedules. Normally scheduled through the training officer of a law enforcement agency, it can also be scheduled by law enforcement groups of six or more who chose too train outside of duty time.
